¿Ya conoces a Fifi Lapin?

Si respondiste que no, te la presento: Fifi Lapin tiene un blog de moda increíble, se viste con las mejores marcas, y es una coneja...sí, una coneja.

 Según cuenta en su perfil, Fifi nació en una camada junto a 257 hermanos, que trágicamente murieron dejándola como hija única, hija de un prospero conejo empresario de la zanahoria y la lechuga...hija única de padre millonario...sólo eso explica como Fifi porta las mejores prendas de cada pasarela en cada temporada :-P.

Fifi empezo su blog hace 3 años, en 2007, y al día de hoy este es reconocido a nivel mundial, incluso ha editado ya un libro con su muy peculiar estilo, que está a la venta, en su blog también puedes encontrar ilustraciones lindísimas y hasta pines con la figura de Fifi.

If the answer is no, let me introduce you: Fifi Lapin has an awesome fashion blog, she wears only the most exclusive designs and she is a bunny...yes, a bunny. 

 As her profile mentions, Fifi was born among other 257 bunnies who sadly died leaving her as the only child, the daughter of a prosper rabbit dedicated to carrots and lettuce's industry. Being the only daughter of a millionaire father...sounds to me like that is the only way you can get to dress as exclusively as she does :-P.

Fifi started her blog 3 years ago, and today it is one of the most recognized fashion sites, she even has a book, and in her blog you can also find some beautiful prints and pins.

My favorite fall trends

En el orden de las manecillas del reloj:

La bolsa "Alexa" de Mulberry, nombrada así por la quien la puso de moda, Alexa Chung. El corte es súper lindo, y en particular la de Mulberry la hay en varios colores pero definitivamente lo mío es el camel. Por supuesto se puede encontrar en muchas marcas más por costos mucho más accesibles.

Piel: Piel por aquí, piel por allá. En faldas, pantalones, shorts, ¡y quisiera tenerlos todos! en especial los pantalones, me encanta como se ven en corte skinny con unos botines y de preferencia, una blusa holgada.

Chalecos de imitación piel: ¡Ya tengo el ojo en uno! Así que no tardará mucho en venir a mis brazos :-D. Esta prenda le da un levanton automático a prácticamente cualquier outfit, y lo hace ver très chic!.

Botas y chamarra biker: Estas en verdad...jamás las vi venir, y en un principio no eran muy de mi agrado, en especial las botas, pero balanceando el resto de las prendas te da un toque rocker increíble.

Capas: Mmm, me hacen pensar en una deliciosa cobija a mis espaldas, ideales para el frío de los últimos días (y el que viene...), además el corte la hace súper práctica.

Leopard print: Igual que la piel, está por todas partes. Espero que quienes tuvieran una prenda con leopard print de hace más de un par de años, la hayan guardado, porque como ven...¡siempre regresa!. Formas de usarlo hay miles, desde un pequeño toque como un cinturón, o zapatos, hasta unos pantalones o abrigo. 

Wedges: O tacones de cuña, amo como se ven, pero no solo eso, sino lo cómodos que son. Comfortably chic at its best.

From center to the right:

The Mulberry's Alexa handbag, named this way because of the fashionista who inspired it. The handbag's cut is really cute and Mulberry has it in more than one color, but definitively my favorite is camel. Of course you can find the model in lots of more affordable brands.

Leather: over here, over there, everywhere! Skirts, trousers and shorts, I'd love to have them all!, but specially the trousers 'cause I just love the way the skinny cut looks paired with some nice ankle boots and preferably, a loose tee.

Faux fur vests: I already got my eyes on it! So it won’t take too long for it to appear on one look of the day post :-D.

This garment automatically enhances any outfit and makes it look très chic!.

Biker boots and jacket: I never really saw these coming! At the beginning I wasn’t much into them, specially the boots, but now I realize that if you balance the rest of the garments, this biker stuff gives you an incredible rocker look.

Capes: mmm, these make me think of a warm and cozy blanket on my back, they’re awesome for these last days’ cold weather. Besides the cut is incredibly practical.

Leopard print: Just like leather, leopard print is everywhere. I hope that those who had a leopard print garment from years ago have kept it ‘cause, as you can see, it always comes back!.

There are a thousand ways to wear this trend, from  small details such as a belt, to trousers or a nice coat.

Wedges: I love the way they look, but not only that, I also love how comfortable they are!. Comfortably chic at its best.

Caramelo

Fui a dar un paseo por Reforma, y encontré una pequeña exposición con algunas fotografías que me gustaron mucho, les dejo aquí un par de ellas.

I took a walk some days ago and found this small exposition with some photos I really loved, here I posted a couple.

Este día mezcle gris con este tono caramelo de la bolsa y los zapatos, me encanta la combinación. Hasta hace poco tiempo me había parecido que el gris era un color demasiado aburrido, y poco combinable...¿en qué estaba pensando? hoy le he encontrado esta y miles combinaciones más, la verdad es que tengo ya demasiadas prendas grises, ¿será que puedan llegar a ser demasiadas?.

That day I mixed grey with this caramel tone on the shoes and the bag, I love this combination. Some time ago I used to think that grey was such a boring and hard-to-combine color, what was I thinking? Today I've found these and many other cool combinations with grey, the truth is, my closet is already full with grey stuff, is that too much?

Neon lights

Soy muy fan de esta blusa, y después de la primera puesta, también lo soy del pantalón. La blusa por el tono fosforescente...bastante evidente ;-) y el pantalón porque es la mezcla perfecta entre un pantalón normal y unos leggings; con la comodidad de estos últimos pero sin necesidad de usar blusas largas gracias a que la tela es gruesa.

I'm a huge fan of this t-shirt, and after the first time I wore it, I also became a fan of the trousers. The t-shirt has this amazing fluorescent tone and the trousers are as comfortable as leggings but I don't need to use long blouses or dresses (And that's great 'cause I only have a couple ;-P).

Me empieza a desesperar un poco el clima cambiante de las últimas semanas, un fin tienes que usar botas y abrigo, y al siguiente falda y sandalias...es muy desconcertante :-S. ¡Que llegue de una vez por todas el invierno por favor!, estoy preparada para recibirlo con guantes, bufanda y gorro, amo usar layers y layers de ropa cuando hace frío :-D.

I'm getting desperate with this changing weather in the city during the last weeks, one weekend you have to wear your boots and a coat and then the next one it's so hot you better take the skirts and sandals out of the closet. I can't wait longer for winter, I'm oh so ready to receive it with layers and layers of clothes :-D.
